1. Montana State Fair

A 10-day, family-friendly event, the Montana State Fair features rides, rodeos, horse racing, live music, and other attractions for the whole family. The Montana State Fair is held in late July or early August in Great Falls, MT.

The Billings Wine and Food Festival takes place every year it is a perfect place to taste some genuine Montana food and drink. At this delicious festival, you’ll sample gourmet dishes from Billing’s finest chefs paired with a selection of wines from around the world. 3. Montana Folk Festival

Music lovers visiting Montana should definitely check out the Montana Folk Festival. Free for all visitors, the Montana Folk Festival is a 3-day, annual event occurring in Butte, MT. It features live performances from some of the best traditional performers from Montana and across the nation. You’ll experience some of the regions best traditional artists, ethnic and festival foods, art markets, and Folklife demonstrations and workshops.
